Approved Services
- Routine Housekeeping Services - Routine tasks or domestic chores, including laundry, ironing, mending, making and changing beds, vacuuming, cleaning floors, dusting and general picking up, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, meal preparation, and window washing.
- Social Transportation - Transportation services may include church services, funerals, occasional visits to friends/relatives, community centers, banks, grocery stores and special occasion shopping, based on the basic social, recreational or personal needs.
- Non-routine Housekeeping Services - Non-Routine tasks or domestic chores include: Washing walls and ceilings, shampooing/steam cleaning carpets & furniture, cleaning attics, basements and garages.
- Access to Nutrutional Food - Transportation of food to the home & transportation of the client to a local restaurant or community facility to obtain meals.
- Grounds Maintenance - Includes snow removal from steps, walkways & driveways. Snow & Ice removal from roofs and eaves troughs, periodically clearing leaves and debris from eaves troughs, lawn mowing & raking, sweeping leaves from pathways, trimming hedges, shrubs and trees.

Key to Health Concierge is a registered service provider for the Veteran’s Independence Program as offered by the department of Veterans Affairs Canada.
On your referral from DVA, we will visit with you to see what services you may require and be eligible for.
NO payments are required from you, as we directly bill Medavie Blue Cross/Veterans Affairs for all services performed on our list of “Approved Services” only. (Please contact us for rates).

Terms, Conditions & Policies
Maximum travel distance per trip for Transportation & Errands services is 50 km return from our head office (beyond 50 km, additional charge of .40 per kilometer applies).
A one-hour minimum charge applies to Errands & Transportation services, starting from our head office (billed by the hour, not the task), thereafter calculated in 15 minute increments.
A two-hour minimum charge applies to Concierge & Personal Assistant services (billed by the hour, not the task), thereafter calculated in 15 minute increments.
Our prices do not include 3rd party fees such as, groceries, gifts, miscellaneous charges etc. which may be incurred while performing requested services.
Payments are due upon receipt of services rendered with the exception DVA Approved Services, Prepaid Packages (hours deducted from account). Prepaid packages must be paid in advance to qualify for the discounted price and for services performed.
There may be a fee assessed for canceling a scheduled service with less than 12 hours service.
A $30 dollar charge applies to all returned NSF cheques. |
