What is the meaning of Concierge? (Pronounced kon se-erzh)
The term first appeared in France in the middle ages - 1627. The concierge responsibilities were to oversee the administration of domestic services and perform special tasks at the request of the King. A concierge’s job was to see to the needs of VIP visitors as well as to hold the keys to the many castle rooms. The “Concierge” title is an individual whose principal occupational responsibility is to facilitate, or to arrange for the facilitation, of any request placed by a client, guest, visitor, or tenant, providing the next level of service as long as the request is legal, ethical, moral and safe.

However, hotels became the buildings most often associated with concierge service. Regardless of the origin, hotels from around the world were the first ones to adopt the concierge idea and offer the service to their guests. How does your service work?
We usually request 24 hours notice by phone, email or fax to fulfill your request. After you contact us, we will set up a consultation, at which time we will discuss the services that will assist you. Your concierge will then take care of your requests, and a
 Key to Health Concierge representative will follow up to ensure that you were completely satisfied with our service provided. We do understand that urgent and last minute things come up, so please never hesitate to contact us, as we will accommodate all the unpredictable requests that may arise.

What about privacy?
Your privacy is a matter of trust with us, and we make every effort to keep your information both private and secure. We do not sell or trade your information to any third party not involved in providing a service for you

Do you have limits of what a concierge will accommodate?
As we say, our services are only limited to your imagination, as long as they are legal, moral,  ethical & safe. A concierge service can take care of unusual or difficult requests such as arranging a famous celebrity to sing at your wife’s birthday party, or place an order for your favourite Harley Davidson coming off the line. Anything is possible with
 Key to Health Concierge. We have access to a growing worldwide professional concierge network, so if we are unable to deal with any of your desires locally, we can tap into our worldwide network knowledge base.

What is your minimum billing charge?
At 
Key to Health Concierge our minimum charge is 1 hour on our services and then every 15 minute increments thereafter, plus HST. You may hire us for one service or book your personal concierge for the entire day – any length of time you should desire. Also available is our pre-paid blocks of hours at discounted rates.

Are your personal concierges/assistants insured & bonded?
Most definitely! All staff at
 Key to Health Concierge are bonded and insured under our master policy. Should you require proof of insurance from us, please don’t hesitate to ask. We want you to feel secure and reassured that you are well protected, and in safe  hands.

Are your service partners reliable and dependable?
Absolutely! At
Key to Health Concierge, all of our service partners are pre-screened and dedicated to quality of their products and services. In addition to checking with the Better Business Bureau, we expect our service partners to have strong references, a proven track record and to be fully insured.
